They look pretty good. I can’t decide if I should paint my Jaguar XJS satin black or not. I think it would look good. What to do with the chrome though? Maybe the chrome should stay. My wheels are chrome starfish design. I guess I could photoshop it to see what it would look like.

everyone thinks that a satin black paint job is cheap or a fast cheap paint job when in reality it is one of the hardiest paint jobs to achieve and requires a lot more attention and elbow grease than a conventional base coat clear coat. Must give respect when respect is deserved

A couple of years ago I bought a copy of Need For Speed Most Wanted on the Playstation 2. The car I finished the game with was a Carrera GT. After looking at every angle of the car I decided it would look the best in the same flat black finish. I finished the GT off with some scarlet, tribal body vinals and the effect was inspiring. Your picture truly is an inspiration to me because it’s the real car. From that moment on, I finished all my NFS custom jobs in the same flat black finish. You’ve turned my fantasy into a reality! I’d like to point out that, I believe, that it may have been the whole Post Apocalyptic road movie genre that might have started this craze. Please don’t quote me on that, it’s only a guess.
