It has a modified Corvette engine with a supercharger mounted on it to make roughly 550 hp and 500 ft/lb of torque. This CTS-V is definitely going to be a monster and should kick some german ass on the track. Of course the M5 and E63 will have a more balanced ride and more refined interior space. The Caddy seats do look heavy bolstered and should be very supportive.

Oh, the Caddy is the only one with a supercharger. Usually the AMG family in the E series has a supercharger (E55) or a turbo like the S65. However since the Caddy is only forced induction engine it should have all around better power range and a bigger, wider torque curve. This is great for around the town driving since the car can go into a higher gear which should get better gas mileage and on the track to have power in every part of the rev range regardless of what gear you are in. With that much torque on hand it doesn’t matter what gear you are in, it will still accelerate very quick.
